Arbor Springs provides two types of water to our clients based on their needs and preferences. To explain the differences between them, we have described their source and treatment processes. All of our water is tested daily in the plant and weekly at an independent lab.
Purified Water is taken from municipal supply it passes through the deionizer to remove the minerals. This produces water near total pureness and equivalent to distilled water in quality. The purified water is then passed through activated carbon to improve taste. Just before bottling, it is ozonated and treated to ultraviolet light to protect it from any bacterial contamination in the filling process.
Spring Water comes from an artesian spring located in Ann Arbor Michigan. Spring water contains a variety of minerals that contribute to its crisp and fresh taste. We have several filters to ensure quality as well as ozonation and ultraviolet light just prior to bottling, to protect it from any bacterial contamination in the filling process.
